Baseball Training Frequently Asked Questions
How old does my child need to be to book a baseball training session?
As long as your child is 10 years old and not older than 18, then he can book a baseball training session.
What age group are you focusing on?
10 – 12 years old. 13 – 14 years old. 15-18 years old. We will train in those groups so everyone has competition and friends from around the same age group and skill level.
Why don’t you train people older than 18 years old?
At the age of 18 if your child still believes that there are some more parts of his game that he needs improvement on, then that is fine. And if your son is 18 years old or older and he is a beginner then I can teach him. I just don’t want to be teaching to someone who already knows everything and is a pro at baseball. That’ll be a waste of time for both of us.
Is the training going to be individually or in a team environment?
The type of training will depend on how many people sign up for that date and time. If only one person signs up then it will be individual training. The minimum amount of people allowed is one and the maximum amount of people that can sign up for a training session is 13.
Where will the training session take place?
The training session will take place on a baseball field. The training session will take place in the Pasadena, Texas, and Deer Park, Texas area.
What happens if it rains on the day of the baseball training session?
No one can control the weather. And baseball isn’t meant to be played in the mud. I will personally go check the field an hour before the booked training session. If the field is unplayable I will let everyone know. I will reach out and discuss a change of date for the booking session. If you are not available at any other time and would like your money back, then you will let me know at that time and I will gladly refund you.
What does my child need to bring for the baseball training session?
For the baseball training session please have your child bring his own baseball stuff. Which are a baseball glove, a baseball bat, a helmet, and cleats. If he doesn’t have any of that stuff then please let me know. If your child is the only one showing up to the baseball training session then I will take stuff for him to use. The only thing I can’t provide is the cleats. If your child wants to come in shorts then that is fine. I don’t recommend that because there will be live shagging, and he won’t be able to dive for a ball if need be. Also, cleats are not mandatory. It’s recommended for each child to bring their own cleats because they will be running on grass and dirt, but tennis shoes are fine.
Do you only hold baseball training sessions in the afternoon or are mornings available too?
The reason I hold baseball training sessions in the afternoon is because the kids are usually at school until 3 p.m. If there are times when people can or want to train in the morning then just let me know a day before but preferably the week before. Also, Saturday and Sunday training can take place in the morning So just let me know what you would like and I’ll see if we can make it happen.
How long are each baseball training session?
Baseball training sessions are 2 hours long. If you can only stay for one hour then please let me know. I recommend that your child stays for the full two hours because there are a lot of things to go over, and reps that need to be done.
What will the baseball training consist of?
The baseball training will consist of throwing, hitting, defense, speed, and power. There will be multiple stations for multiple objectives so that everyone has a great training session.
Why should I trust that you will help my child?
I’ve been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. Multiple Little League All-Star teams, Select ball, and Perfect Game Tournaments. Batted the highest batting average in my varsity high school team. Was picked for a full ride to the University of Houston.
